[Antique Carriage in a Parade]

Description: Photograph of a black, old-fashioned carriage transporting costumed passengers in League City's sesquicentennial parade in honor of Texas' 150th birthday. The four passengers, seated in the rear cab of the carriage, are wearing clothing in the style of the mid-1800s. In keeping with the theme, the driver, who is seated in the front cab, is wearing a curly-haired wig. With the reins in hand, he drives the wagon down the major road in League City where the parade took place.

Description: Photograph of many individuals seated and standing around a pier, Galveston Dock, Texas, c. 1912. A horse-drawn buggy can be seen in the foreground, and there are many row and sail boats out on the water on the horizon. Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Printed by Byrd IV."
