[Air Plane Wrecked At Marfa Texas]

Plaiting Apparatus.

Description: Patent for a new and improved plaiting machine. This design consists in "[t]he combination, of a plaiting apparatus, of a fixed transverse bar, a second transverse bar adapted to be adjusted relative thereto, and means for securing the said adjustment, each of said bars being provided with a transverse metallic strip bent to form inclined ribs" (lines 98-103).

Description: Partial page of list of clothing stores. Only one column of the form is used and seems to possibly be a price list for items of clothing and equipage, including forage caps ($1.00), woolen blankets ($7.00),bugles ($3.65), and flannel sack coats ($4.80). There are no dates or names on the fragment, but it is probably from New York Volunteer Cavalry in 1864 or 1865.
