Are you looking for an interesting and worth-while presentation for your in-service meetings?

We'd be glad to send a speaker to your school district for teachers' in-service meetings or other training sessions.  The cost is free for school districts within 30 miles of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.  If you are outside of this area, arrangements can be made in exchange for reasonable travel reimbursement.  If you are interested, please e-mail!

        • Collections.  Learn about great online historic content from our forty-five collaborators: libraries, museums, archives, historical societies, private collectors.
        • Primary Source Adventures.  Explore TEKS-driven lesson plans incorporating primary sources.
        • My Texas History Notebook.  Hear about a new grant project that is developing interactive notebook lesson plans for Texas History.  

11:00 am          Online demonstrations

        • Taking a closer look at historic content: how to browse and search
        • Tips on incorporating materials into classroom activities

All presentations will include handouts and freebies!
