5AANIFF MECHANICS
2,000 employees of Braniff International in the Fort Worth-
Dallas area are voting today on a new three-year contract that will provide
up to a 33 per cent wage increase for the airlines mechanics, inspectors,
aircraft cleaners and fuelers.
International Association of Machinist union official L. T.
Faircloth told WBAP NEWS tht the new contract would cost Braniff about
(M)$15-million dollars over & the three year period.
The union and Braniff have been in negotiations since last
October.
