Item description from donor: "Social distancing in the Mac lab of Sycamore Hall."
Additional description from donor: "As a journalism student at UNT, I have frequent need of the Mac lab to handle various photojournalism and visual communications-based assignments. Requiring a power Mac for much of the video package editing required in my visual communications class, I'm often in the Mac lab during the week. This semester, however, as part of social distancing, the Mac lab has had its total number of occupants drastically reduced, with half of the seats being tied up in trash bags with the mouse and keyboards removed from every other computer station.
This is intended to keep students safely distanced from one another but does create the occasional complication with regard to availability depending on the time of day you're trying to work there.
This photo was taken with my Canon M50 mirrorless camera in the Mac lab of Sycamore Hall near the Mayborn School of Journalism office. In it, you can see two students seated in separate rows for a class assignment. As this lab is a key resource for many students, this is a solid submission for the archive."
