WACS TO BE HOSTS TO ARMY RECRUITERS
Since Army recruiters spend a good deal of time
trying to persuade young ladies to join the
Wacs, the Army is sending a group of them from
Dallas on a three-day visit to the new Wac
Center at Fort McClellan, Alabama. Tagging along
are some news people.
On hand to see the group off is Mrs. Stanley
Marcus, a member of the Defense Department's
Advistory Committee on Women in the Services.
Mrs. Marcus tells Major Eleanor Geiser an eye
disorder is preventing her from making the trip.
GROUP OF MEN
One member of the group says he isn't too keen
on the trip. Master Sergeant Arnold Lotz, a
veteran of 15 years services says he's served
with with Wacs before as a supply sergeant.
