Notes

North Texas State Teachers College was renamed North Texas State College in 1949, then North Texas State University in 1961 before finally being named the University of North Texas on May 15, 1988. The Administration Building was built from 1923-24 and was renamed the Auditorium Building in 1957. The Science Building was built in 1910 and demolished to make way for the new Language Building in 1967. The Library was built in 1912 and renamed the Museum Building in the late 1930s, the Historical Building in 1940, and the O. J. Curry Hall in 1990/91. The Library Building was built in 1937 and renamed the Information Science Building in 1971/72. The Education Building was built in 1918/19 and renamed the Business Administration Building in 1950, the Language Government Building in 1961, and the Psychology Building in 1970, it was torn down over the course of the 1979-1980 school year. The Manual Arts Building was built in 1914/15 and was renamed the Art Building in 1961, it was torn down over the summer of 1974 and the General Academic Building was built in the same location in 1978. The Power Plant was built in 1915.
