This was shortly after Bob Boroff spotted the
lion strolling casually between his house and
the one next door. Boroff says the lion almost
got hit by a car as it crossed the street, then
scampered off in the direction of a vacant house.
A safari of about eleven persons quickly take
up the search which was left off Wednesday after
the lion was last seen headed north from a
bull dog that was heading south. The two had a
brief encounter which ended in a draw. Grand
Prairie police lieutenant Fred Conover baits the
trap with a pound of fresh hamburger meat. Then
idea is to offer the lion food before he gets
hungry enough to eat people. For his trouble,
