Original description from Byrd Williams, IV: A row of classical statues overlooking the Pacific Ocean near point Lobos. Millionaire Adolph Sutro imported 200 concrete Greek replicas made in Belgium just prior to the 20th century. They stood until 1907 when the park was dismantled, Byrd Williams, Jr. c1900.
