tear-gas device that is supposed to make it burglar proof.
Dallas crime lab expert Pete Barnes wishes he had one of
the masks as he examines the wrecked safe body.

About a block away, police capture 41 year old Davis
hiding in Northcutt
Northcut, 4 a clubp of bushes, is under
.a year probated sentence for forgery, and he reaIly
admits the abortive bafe burglary. He is taken to police
headquarters for further questioning. Behind 'the motor
c ompany, police discover a pick.-up truck that was used
by the two safe burglars. Several tools are fount
in the truck cab by police officers, as they search the
,orthcut
vehicle l and his companion abandoned several
tools inside the building when their burglary attempt was
nipped in the bud by Officer Powell and Dowdle. M.S-son
