At the Casa View country club near Mesquite,
Dallas county officers, Texas rangers and local
Mesquite police are called to investigate the
bludgeon killing of a 51-year-old nightwatchman.
BODY ON FLOOR
The body of Willie Boyd Story, who lived at 5204
Worth street in east Dallas, is found sprawled
on the floor, near the main entrance of the club.
In a nearby room, the club's office, police learn
the reason for the killing. The club's safe, im-
bedded in a concrete floor, is battered but un-
opened. The concrete floor around -it has been
chipped in an attempt to take it out of the floor.
