The latest development in the story of Dallast Baby
X unfolds in the juvenile court room of Dallas County
Juvenile Judge Lewis E. Russell reads the
legal status of the abandoned infant, found 12 days
ago wrapped up im a throw rug in the 22-00 block of
Cockrell Hill Road. After the infant boy was found
by a Dallas contractor, he was taken to Methodist
hospital where aboubattled to save him from a
siege of pnuemonia resulting from exposure.
Juvenile probation officers Miss Carol Yeager and
George W. Looney tell Judge Russell the baby= s parents
are s till unknown.
Judge Russell signs the order declaring a
ward of the juvenile court. Baby X will be placed
in a foster hom eventually be adopted.
