A toy train, dubbed the Methodist Hospital Golden Cross
Limited, is put into IM service at a special school
for mentally retarded children, at the Cochran/Mm Metho-
dist Church in Dallas. The train constructed of alatost
everything but real train parts, was originally used at
a Monday breakfast at Methodist Hospital in Dallas to
distribute gifts to needy children who have recieved care
under the hospital's Golden Cross program. After use there,
the hospital donated it to the children of the school for
use on their playground. The train was built by the main-
tenance staff of the hospital, and they made use of every-
thing from venetian blind slits to discarded soap boxes
in its construction. With everything checked out and found
to be in working order, the schools officials give the
go-ahead, and the kids 1 no time in giving the Limited
