This 268-item bibliography is an excellent starting point for the be-
ginning student of the Mexican American. Its annotations are accurate
and well done and its selections are well chosen. One can, of course, point
out specialized items which are not included but then this bibliography was
never intended to be all inclusive. For those who wish a more compre-
hensive listing, the first eight items discussed are more complete bib-
