are marked I shall expect you to keep to the letter, or suffer the penalty,
and it will be a severe one without a doubt. I was in hopes we could
enjoy Christmas together but I do not see any hope now, but I cant
blame anyone but myself some times I am almost tempted to write you
to come on at once & take me home but I know that would not do. I
dreamed about you again the other night but it was a troubled dream.
I will close for this time as I have an other letter to write tonight. I
hope we will not have to write to each other many more times but you
must try to answer all my letters, for I will want to hear from you as
ofter as possible. hoping to hear from you very soon.
