Affairs of the Association
The director has traditionally begun these annual reports by saying
that we have had another good year. I am pleased to say that 1989-
199o is no exception. We have had our share of problems fund-raising
in today's economic climate, but our budget is currently in the black,
though some individual programs are not covering their expenses. The
ninety-fourth annual meeting held in Austin on March i-3 was one of
the most enjoyable and successful in recent years, and we are involved
in many exciting projects in our publications and education divisions.
Association membership now stands at 3,511, which is 56 more mem-
bers than we had one year ago. Currently we have:
