The broadcast towers of stations WBAP-TV (now KXAS) and radio domi-
nate the eastern skyline of Fort Worth and are especially apparent be-
cause of the red lights on each tower when one approaches the city from
the east, as Fort Worth artist Jack White has done many times. White said
that the lights alerted him that he was getting close to home and in-
spired this painting.
