The First Baptist Church of
Howe will begin revivial
services Sunday, March 21,
at 11 a.m. Bro. Dale Gore,
pastor of First Baptist
Church, Denison, will be
preaching and Don and Joan
Phelps of Linden, Texas will
be in charge of the music.
Bro. Dale Gore has served
as Grayson Baptist Associa-
tional Missionary, pastor of
Trinity Baptist Church,
Sherman and pastor of First
Baptist Church, Whitewright
Don and Joan Phelps serve
in First Baptist Church,
Linden. Don serves as Music
and Education Director and
Joan as Youth Director.
They formerly served at East
Sherman Baptist Church,
Sherman.

Assembly of God
The Rev. Emerson E.
Gregg is the new minister
for the Howe First Assembly
of God.
Gregg comes to Howe from
Denison and is originally
from Fort Worth. He and his
wife, Dawn, have three
children; Brent, 7; Bradley,
5 and Heather Renee, 3.
Gregg has worked with
young people and has been
paster for three churches.
He also worked as youth
representative for North Fort
Worth Sectional CA (Christ
Ambassadors) as secretary-
treasurer.
He attended Berean School
of Bible, completed Success
Barber College and attended
Security Science Institute.
Youth programs and adult
programs are being planned
for the entire church. Gregg,
his wife and oldest son also
sing together as a trio.
Singing
The First Assembly of God
in Howe will host a singing
Sunday, March 21, at 2 p.m.
Everyone in the community
is invited to attend and all
denominations are welcome
to participate. The Gregg
Family (the new pastor of
the church and his family)
will be singing. Also are
Eddie Ring of Sherman and
the Carol Mannery and
Ribble Trio.
The singing is a benefit to
raise money for a parking lot
at the church.
