THE HOWARD PAYNE YELLOW JACKET
Today Set as Last for Taking of Fish
Photos for Lasso Section
Today Is the last day the Fresh-
men have to have their pictures
made. There are still a number
that have not been down. Sopho-
more pictures will ho started to-
morrow. It is probable that If you
do not have It made now that you
won't have another chance thus
eliminating you from The Lasso.
We all want our school to be
the be3t. We want to put out a
winning team in every thing we
start to do. In every athletic con-
test debating the best yells and
the most pep. On our trips we
want to represent our school as the
best. Why then can't we do as
much for our school in putting
out a representative annual. But
the Editor or the Business Manager
or any one person on the stafft
cannot put out a representative an-
nual without the co-operation of
cuch student as an individual.
The first responsibility of the
individual in u co-operative pro-
gram Is to have his picture made.
If this Is not done as you see the
staff will have nothing to work
from. We cannot put out a repre-
sentative book with about one third
of the student body in It. Where
we should and have planned to
have thirty pages there would lie
only ten. Instead of the Freshmen
having fifteen pages they would
have five. The Staff cannot and
I you cannot. If you are loyal to
your school and want It to be
I represented over the statu afford
I to put out this kind of a book. Hut
I whut else can we do If you do not
I have your picture made.
Many are planning on having
