Campus Touch Ball
League Being Formed
Several teams have been organ-
ized and have begun practice in
prepaiation for entering an intia-
mural touch football league which
is being planned on the college
campus.
These teams will consist of six
men and efforts are being made
to organize a league with several
teams competing for the cham-
pionship. Anyone desiring to enter a team
inthe league is asked to see Lewis
Fisher Clifton Tennison or Lloyd
Turner as soon as possible.
Although the six-man game will
be played as touch football due to
the lack of equipment the schol-
astic game is very popular among
the smaller high schools of Texas.

Aggie Team Accepts
New Orleans' Offer
Chances for Texas to have Its
greatest sporting even In history
were shattered this week when
it was announced that Texas
A&M's unbeaten untied football
team would meet the Green Wave
of Tulane in the Sugar Bowl at
New Orleans on New Year's day.
A group of prominent Dallas
Texas business men and bankers
had guaranteed the highly touted
Texas Aggie eleven and the unde-
feuted Tennessee team $85000
each to participate in the annual
Cotton Bowl at the Texas center
on New Year's day. However
even after they had voiced ap-
proval of meeting the A&M Ag-
gies the Tennessee Vols withheld
their answer from the Cotton Bowl
officials stated they would not
make known their acceptance un-
til after their Saturday's game
with Auburn.
The Aggies desired to partici-
pate in the Texas classic because
of the fine support that the statu
fans have given their unbeaten
team but they were given no al-
ternative when the Vols withheld
their answer.
