Tomot low's contest with
the bitter rivals fiom "the
hill" across town will mark
only the fourth game that the
Indians have played In Abi-
lene this year.
Even in the game tomoirow
however the gridsters from
the Reservation will be listed
as the visitors since McMurry
was the lmaginaiy host last
year.
It seems to this writer a
worth-while project to look
at this year's home record by
the Warriors. In -their first
contest before the home folk
the Redmen clipped 'Howard
Payne 17-8. That was.the last

time up to now that the In-
I dlans have allowed a team to
this year in Abilene.
The following week McMur-
ry walloped a supposedly good
Arizona State Flagstaff unit
55-7 and then last week the
gridsters of Coach Tommy El
lis belted the Eastern New
Mexico Greyhounds 51-0 be
fore a pleased homecoming
crowd of 4000.
Both games represent the
biggest offensive outbursts
scoring-wise by the Indians
this year and the two teams
t involved were definitely not
the weakest teams on the In-
dian schedule.
What then Is the answer to
these outbursts? It is hard to
say for sure but it is for sure
that these two offensive dis-
plays delighted - the home
folks. It is also for sure to
say that if the Warriors con-
tinue to play this type of ball
in Abilene Thanksgiving is
going to produco a terrific
ball game and some Wildcat
fur is Just liable to fly. My
prediction? McMury 24 ACC
14.
