A
HEARSAY
FROM HENSLEE
Oh, woe is me. I’m so full I can
hardly write, so much turkey and
stuff. I hope all of you had a merry
Thanksgiving. I know I did.
* * #
What’s the matter with you kids?
Everyone having wrecks and getting
hurt. Bill, you and Emelda, Ken-
neth and Ruby Lee had better be a
little more careful. Huh kids!
* * *
If you saw any one walking down
the hall last Wednesday sorta
droopy eyed, don’t think anything
about it, because its just the K. P.
Home kids trying to get over the
banquet given at the Home Tuesday
night.
* * *
Well are all of you still alive after
all those terrible tests? I’m just
barely. I hope everyone made A’s
on them. Shame on you if you didn’t.
* * *
That was a pretty swell game
that our “B” Team played last Tues-
day wasn’t it. They just beat us two
points. Good work boys.
* * *
Golly, isn’t it cold, almost freezing
(sometimes). One day it’s hot and
next day it’s cold. It seems to me
though some of the girls have a nice
warm (football) jacket to wear.
* * *
The mail box is now on the staff
room door and we want lots of
“stuff” for the paper from all of you.
Only, please be sure to sign your
name to it. SAVY?
* * *
I guess you kids know we have
only twenty-four more weeks of
school and then some of us will be
quituating. Wonderful don’t you
think?
Well, see you next week. Be good

Looking for Something?
“Have you seen it?”
“I’ve lost it!”
“Oh, please help me find it.”
“I just can’t work without it!”
Oh, it’s nothing really! Just
Earline Henslee’s bubble gum
(and she won’t tell where she
got it). Somewhere, somehow,
Earline lost her bubble gum and
she inquired one half day about
it.
By the way, she found it ,in a
very mashed and delapidated po-
sition, on the sole of her shoe.
Too bad, Earline! Better luck
next time.
Joan Barber and Charles McBride

the Melon Vine, who are working
hard to meet a December 15 en-
graver’s deadline for the material
for the annual.
Cake Party
We are still hearing results of that
wonderful cake auction sponsored
by the Junior Class.
It seems Mrs. Babb’s third period
Latin class had a very delightful
time with the cake purchased by
Nancy Young, but we hear that Mr.
Wilson furnished the money for it.
Say, Mr. Wilson how about purchas-
ing a cake for every class.
