"Thieves In The Night” will be

ary 31, 8 p. m., at Congregation
Beth Yeshurun, with Mrs. J. L.
Bressler and Miss Yetta Werner
participating. Rabbi Wm. S. Ma-
tey will discuss “The Healing of
My People”. A reception tender-
ed by the Houston Chapters of
Senior, Junior and BAP Had-
assah will follow services.
The subject of this Sunday
morning’s “Veiee of Beth Yeshar-
bh” Broadcast, heard over Station
K. T. R. H. at 10:30, will be
**Cltamisha Asar Bi’Shevat” (New
Year's Day for Trees in Pales-
tine). Rabbi Malev, Cantor Kras-
noff and a Houston Symphony
trio will participate.
Tel Aviv, (JTA) —Construction
of 1,000 small houses at Sarona,
adjoining Tel Aviv was voted by
the Tel Aviv muncipal council.
The houses will be assigned to
new immigrants. They will be
financed jointly by the munici-
pality, national institutions and
credit corporations.
The unveiling of the tombstone
in memory to the late Mrs. Sarah
Berman will take place at 330
p. m„ Sunday, February 3, on the
Adath Yeshurun cemetery.
