Handwritten correspondence on the back of the postcard: "Would like a post card of your capital or a card of this post office. Doris Smallwood 1104 North 7th St. Temple, Texas." The name of the addressee is typed: "Mrs. B. J. Hencerling Box 415 Harlingen, Texas." There is also a stamp that reads: "Temple Texas Sep 6 10 pm 1942."
