The association met at 4 o'clock for transaction of business. Officers present
J D Woods President
J P Loving Secretary

The election being in order for President Jas. [abbr: James] D. Woods was unanimously elected on second ballot (Mr Hampton having been voted on first).

Si Collins was elected vice president

J. P. Loving elected Secretary

W. S. Holt was elected Marshall
Frank Etter was elected asst. [abbr: Assistant] Marshall.
Moved that a Committee be approved to draft resolutions on the death of W. W. Wheat, Vice President who died [gap: illegible] since our last meeting and any other who maybe [gap: illegible]
The following were appointed on said Committee
Horace Lea, Jack Jennings, and E. C. [gap: illegible]

The President appointed the following executive Committee-
Ben DeSpain R. S. A. Barnett
Billy AustinWm [abbr: William] Sevy
Dr [abbr: Doctor] T. S. Freeman

The following resolution was adopted.
Resolved by the Old Settlers Association of Grayson County Texas that we [gap: illegible] the action of our executive committee in their selection of the place for Holding the present meeting
