The Executive Committee met at Sherman July 6th 1891. Present E Rudasill, J. Horase Lea, J. P. Loving and H. N. Tuck was represented by proxy and the following program was adopted.
First Day Thursday Aug 13th 1891
Address of Welcome by Hon. [abbr: Honorary] J W Sevy Mayor of Sherman at 10 a.m.
Response by J. D. Woods President of the Association.
Speech at 2 p.m. by D. O. Hayes Esqr. [abbr: Esquire] of Denison
The remainder of the evening to be occupied with volunteer speeches by Old Settlers, social chats, croquet, marble, and base ball games, etc. etc.
Speech at 8 p.m. by Woods Esquire of Sherman.
Speech at 9 p.m. by Irvin smith Esquire of Denison
Second Day Friday Aug 14th 1891
Speech at 10 a.m. by Charles S Vowell Esqr. of Sherman
Speech by Honorary T. J. Brown of Sherman at 11 a.m.
Speech at 2 p.m. by Judge J H Wood of Sherman.
At 4 o'clock p.m. the old settlers will meet
