The Town of Refugio has been

the year 1871, when the Twelfth
Legislature changed the county

The old county of Refugio did
not get a railroad until 1907, al-

Until 1907 the county was an

it would seem that the leaders
of both factions got together to
adjust their differences, with
the result that the Twelfth Leg-
islature on September 18, 1871,
passed an act creating Aransas
County out of Refugio, and
making Rockport the county
seat of the former, and the Mis-
sion of Refugio the county seat
of the part remaining of the
old county.
Since September 18, 1871, the
two counties have functioned
separately, and the kindliest
feelings have always existed be-
tween them. Many old-timers
upon the separation moved from
the new county into the old,
while, on the other hand, many
former Refugians are to be
found among the sturdy citizen-
ship of Aransas County.
Before leaving Rockport and
Aransas County attenion is
called to another ambitious
project of the boosters of the
new county. On November 11,
1871, the” Twelfth Legislature
specially chartered a corpora-
tion to be known as the “Rock-
port, Fulton, Laredo & Mexican
Railroad Company.” The name,
in 1874, was changed to “The
Texas & Mexican Pacific Rail-
road Company.” The incorpora-

YOUTHFUL STRENGTH
Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld, the world-known authority on Sexology and
Director of the Institute for Sexual Science of Berlin, Germany, created
TITUS-PEARLS
to help the millions of men and women who have lost or are losing, their
vital physical power. In his 35 years of practice and research, however,
he realized that the weakening of man’s glands was also responsble for
other troubles: HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, HARDENING OF THE
ARTERIES, PHYSICAL EXHAUSTION after work or exercise. DIZZI-
NESS, DEPRESSION, NEURASTHENIA, etc.
All these troubles can be removed with TITUS-PEARLS. Numerous
cases were treated by Dr. Hirschfeld in his Berlin Institute.
L. S. (State Official; 60 years old, married) complained of physical
exhaustion, dizziness and tremors. Was easily tired. Mental powers
dull and slow moving. Physical powers had been incomplete for previous
five years. Blood pressure too high. Given two Titus-Pearls three-times
a day. Two weeks later the medical report oh this man was:—.
General health better, more vigor: dizziness much less and returning of
power. Treatment continued and two weeks later L. S. reported again,
this time to say that all weariness and exhaustion had gone: he felt
fresh and buoyant. His blood pressure had fallen, and at 60 years of
age he had regained the physical power and virility tha he hd known,
in the prime of his life.
Start regaining your youthfulness now! Today! In two weeks time
you will be aware of the new, virile force within you. Send $5.00 (cash
registered or money-order) for two weeks treatment.____
