Clothing Department
THE sales in our Clothing Department in the month of
May have proven highly satisfactorynot from a
money making point to us but in so far that they have
enabled us to materially reduce our immense stock.
When a store gets overloaded with merchandise there is
only one thing to do and that is to lose sight of all pro-
fits and get rid of the goods while the public wants
them. This method wc have pursued all last month
with good results and this method wc shall keep up all
during June until we get our clothing stock down to a
comfortable basis Wc have closed out quite a number
of lines during this sale but wc have again gone through
our stock and selected such lines where the sizes have
in the meantime been broken and added them to the
goods to be sold at a reduction so that wc practically
start the month of June with as full an assortment of
SUITS AT RLDUCLD PR1CLS
As wc had the day our sale was begun Needless to de-
scribe the suits offered at these price concessions they
ate without any doubt the very best values ever offered
in San Angclo and so much more remarkable as it is a
well known fact that woolen goods of all descriptions
have very much advanced in price
