The editors of Texas Short Stories are soliciting stories for their second
edition. This anthology will consist of approximately thirty selections
that reflect Texas subjects/characters, either contemporary or histori-
cal. Authors are invited to submit up to five previously unpublished sto-
ries, between two and forty pages in length, double spaced. Deadline

ety, welcomes manuscripts on any phase of history. Submissions should
be of interest to a wide general readership rather than narrowly aimed

latter should be double-spaced and conform to The Chicago Manual of
Style, 14th edition. Two paper copies of the completed manuscript, dou-
ble-spaced, with one-inch margins (right margin unjustified) are
required for submission. Copies will be returned only to those authors
who supply stamped, self-addressed envelopes.
