Texas' Leading Newspaper has had a really
articulate "voice" since 1922 when it began
the operation of Radio Station WFAA. The
News' "ear appeal," now rivaling its eye
attraction, has made tremendous strides in
the years that have followed.

Since September 1, 1940,
it has been possible for
many more persons and
families to hear and en-
joy Dallas News radio
service than ever before.
On that date The Dallas
Morning News initiated
half-time operation and
ownership of Radio Sta-
tion KGKO, greatly
broadening its service to
the public.

The News Family is the
bond of union of Dallas
and the great region that
Dallas serves as metropo-
lis. It's the "voice" that
influences Texas-the in-
habitants particularly of
North and East Texas,
the State's richest area.
To advertisers, The Dal-
las News Family offers
complete coverage of the
Dallas Market.
