State Expenditures- Purposes for Which Made.
Data below show, for the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, 1942, the expenditures of the Texas
State Government for administrative, judicial, and legislative functions, and for educational
and eleemosynary institutions, for social security and for all other purposes. The table show s
general purpose as indicated by the governmental function, e g , "'legislative," 'judicial,"
