Mrs. Bill Crisp was honored
with a miscellaneous shower
on February 13 from four to
six at the Snowden residence.
Hostesses were Mrs. Malvin
Plocek of Cotulla, Mrs. E. F.
Aiderman, Mrs. W. W. Aider-
man, Mrs. Owen Winslow, Mrs.
Tony Snowden, Mrs. Roy F.
Adams and Mrs. Roy Adams
The Valentine motif was car-
ried out in the decorations.
The table was covered with a
beautiful lace cover; a center-
piece was red and white carn-
ations. Heart shaped cakes de-
corated with red candy hearts
and red fruit punch were serv-
ed. Mrs. Wayne Crisp presid-
ed at the punch bowl and Mrs.
Bobby Childress of Cotulla
served the cake. Little Miss
Sherry Crisp had charge of
the guest book.
The honoree received many
beautiful and useful gifts,
which were displayed in one
room. The out of town guests
were Mrs Woody Nobles and
Mrs. Stacy and daughter of
Crystal City; Mesdames Roy
Martin, Lindsay Martin, Leroy
Peters, Charles York, Gebert,
Bobby Childress, George E.
Crisp and Brenda of Cotulla.
Local folks were Mrs. George
D. Crisp and Carol, Mrs. Edgar
Kuenstler. Mrs. Glen Dick,
Mrs. Roy Keck, also of Cotulla
and the hostesses.
Edgar Kuenstler took Mrs
Glen Dick to San Antonio Sun-
day for a visit with her grand-
daughter Mr. and Mrs. Gene
Harrison and children.
Mrs. Edna Newel, a sister of
Mrs. Owen Winslow and Mrs.
Tony Snowden died February
8th at nine o’clock in the hos-
pital at Freer from a heart at-
tack. She entered the hospital
the Sunday before her demise.
The funeral services were in
i Freer Sunday. Interment was in
the Beeville Cemetery. Friends
extend condolances to the be-
reaved.
Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Williams
of Laredo spent the week end
with her sister Mr. ana Mrs.
Roy Adams.
Sunday Edward Ballard and
Roger Crisp of San Antonio
visited Mr. and Mrs George
D. Crisp, Roger is their grand-
son, the son of Mr. and Mrs.

David Gaddis was home over
the week end visiting with his
Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Hearn
of Pleasanton spent the week
end with her parents Mr. and
Mrs. E. F. Aiderman.
