Sharoii and Dick Thoniu.«ou of Sagemont have
the distinction of being the only owners of a giant
schnauzer in the Houston area. Their dog, Copelieu* *
is six months old and Is a beauty. He has been en-
tered on the Texas AKC Circuit for March and will
be shown in San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, GalVes-
, ton, and Ft. Worth. Good luck to you, and we hope
to hear good things from you folks!
This past weekend fathers and sons of the East
End Indian Nation had their annual Igloo Outing.
Dick Willburn and Richard Meyer were camping
with their sons when Friday night's cold front push-
ed through the area. Dick and Richard were sleep-
ing outside the camper under an awning at 3:30 a.m.
when 35 mph winds blew the awning down and
dumped all the water collected in the top on Dick.
What a rude awakening that must have been!
Seme really nice people have been born on
February 22, like George Washington and Bill Se-
veir. Bill was honored Friday night when Maxine
gave a party for him in honor of his 3? birthday.
Friends attending the party included Leonard and
Dayle Lewis, James and Sharon Bouvier, Don and
Karen McMahon, Jose and Jackie Ferrer, Dave Re-
gan, Chris and Patti Brammer, Roger and Linda
Gill, Mike and Charlotte Seveir, and Mike and Pat
Davenport Sounds like you had a terrific party,
Bill, and we wish you much happiness in the coming
year.
Albert and Jimmy Daigle are anxiously await-
ing entry to their new home which is being built in
Kirkwood South. They hope to move by the end
of March. The Daigle’s presently reside in Kirk-
wood. James and Stephanie, the two Daigle chil-
dren are happy to be staying in the same area.
Jimmy says what she is looking forward to most is
more room and a fireplace.
Mustard is a dog that is part beagle but looks
more like a dachshund. His owner, Lynn Burkhalter,
thinks he acts more like a Laborador retriever. If
any of the neighbors are missing newspapers, old
shoes, socks, or any other small object you might
call Lynn and if its not too chewed up she will be
happy to have you claim the lost articles.
