Our celebration on the 11th. of
Nov was ouite a success, had a
crowd and everyone enjoyed
themselves. The Band gave two
concerts which aa usual were var*
ied and well received. We were
glad to see visitors from our sis*
towns. We are glad that the ri-
valry between us and our neigh-
bor towns is of the good natuired
and friendly sort, which tends to
make us progress in a healthy and
business-like manner. We were
especially glad to have with us
Dr. Annis, Aspermont's Mayor,
and Mr. Link, of the leading bus-
iness of .Aspermont and Peacock;
John Wood, son of Peacock's
main building contractor, and
Miss Ruby Donnell, the beauti-
ful and accomplished daughter of
Mr. S. L. Donnell, one of tlie
most, respected and successful of
our farmers, were united in mar-
riage Sunday, Nov. 8th. They
will make their future home in Ft
Worth All their friends join us
in wishing them success and hap-
piness.
