known heirs and legal representa-
tives, by making publication of this
Citation once in each week for four
consecutive weeks previous to the re-
turn day hereof, in some newspaper
published in your Couiity, if there be
a newspaper published therein, but
if not, then in the nearest County
where a newspaper is published, to
appear February 28th, 1938 before
Special Commissioners appointed by
the County Judge of Stonewall Coun-
ty to assess the damage to above

or less.

der of Sale issued out of the Dis-
trict Court of Harris County, Texas,
61st Judicial District, on a judgement
rendered in said Court on the 8th day
of December, 1937, in favor of The
Federal Land Bank of Houston and
against Loyd H. Marr, et al, for the
sum of ONE THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED SEVENTY AND 75(100
($1,570.7.5) DOLLARS, and 8% in-
terest from April 24, 1936 and for
costs of suit, and foreclosure of lein,
in Cause No. 228,131, on the docket
of said Court, I did on the 3rd day of
February, A. D., 1938, at 10:00 o'clock
A M., levy upon the following des-
cribed parcel and tract of land, sit-
uated in Stonewall County, Texas, as
the property of said defendants, said
premises containing 130 acres, more
or less, located 14 miles North of'frum
Aspermont, Texas, and most general-
ly known as the Loyd H. Marr land,
and consisting of the following- origi-
nal survey, or parts of surveys, to-
wit;

SWENSON H-D CLUB
Mrs. Lania McMeans was hostess
to a call meeting Jan. 27th 1988. The
club was called to order by president,
Mrs. Tarrance. RoO call was respond-
ed to by members naming theif favo-
rite-'bread of poultry.'
Miss PauLr> Hargrove gave out
literature and passed colored pictures
of Afferent breeds of poultry—ducks,
chickens, geese turkeys and guineas.
She also gave a talk on poultry rais-
ing and showed a cut of a cooler for
eggs.
Mrs Bowman was added to our
membership. Miss Joe White and Mrs.
Gr.ffis were visitors. Next meeting
will be the third Tuesday, Feb. 15,
at Mrs. Tarrance's home. ,
Those present were: Mesdames
Tarrance, Lanis McMeans, Roy Gard-
ner, John and Glen Hoy, Bowman,
Griffis, Miss White and Miss Har-
grove.

Rev. J B. Rowan was in Swenson

demonstration club news
The Old Glory home demonstration
club met on January 26th in the
home of Mrs. Irvin Diers. Each
member answered roll call by telling
her method of keeping eggs cool.
Miss Hargrove showed us a chart
on deteriation of eggs when not kept
cool. Mrs. Carl Drusedow gave a
demonstration of how to construct an
egjf cooler.
Hot chocolate and delicious sand-
wiches were served to: Mesdames
Agnew, Elms, Elliott, Grice, Spitzer,
Herttenbenger, Drusedow, Hackebeil,

SIXTH GRADE HOLDS ELECTION
At the beginning of the new semes-
ter, the sixth grade home room
changed officers. Regular political
campaigns were conducted- by the
candidates and their friends—posters,
slogans, cards, and speeches were
made.
At the regular club meeting-, Jan-
uary twenty-first, official ballots
were passed out. The officers elected
were: Robbie Hoover^ president;
Lawrence Ottmers, vice-president;
Clara Lee Gholson, secretary-treasur-
er and Ida Mae Cassle, reporter.
