The Old Glory Variety
Club met at the home of Mrs.
Hynn Flowers Tuesday of
last week. Mrs. Travis Beil
read the devotional and Mrs.
Olis Macon of Rule gave a
very interesting demonstra-
tion on liquid embroidery with
Tri-Chem paints and exhibited
a number of beautiful items
that she had made using the
paints.
Eleven people were present
at the meeting. The eight
members were Mmes. W. G.
Wienke, Garrett Spitzer, E.
H. Diers, Charlie Letz, Travis
Beil, Katie Gerloff, Beno
Herttenberger and the
hostess. Visitors were Mrs.
Olis Macon and Mrs.. Hersheli
Kines of Rule and John Cox
who attended with his grand-
mother, Mrs. e. H. Diers.
Visitors in the home of Mrs.
Katie Gerloff last weekend
included Mr. and Mrs. Ray-
mond Gerloff of Abilene,
Cecil Ray Gerloff of Belen,
N. Mex., Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Gerloff and son Mickey of
Lubbock, and Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Ross of Peacock.
Derrell Sawyers is here
from Louisiana where he is
employed spending a few days
with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. A. R. Sawyers.
Mrs. George Rhoads and
children, Tom Lee and Sherry,
nd her mother, Mrs. Nora
Dffill, went to Amarillo last
weekend to take Jarsa Sue
back home. She is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mis. Floyd
Offill and has been spending
a week here with the Rhoads

Offill and also Mr. and Mrs.
Heatherly at Anson.

were Mrs. Eula Mae Magness
and grandson, Joel Hight,
from Friona and Mrs. Travis
Beil. Mrs. Magness and her

the Gibson reunion and were
guests in the home of Mr.
and Mrs., Travis Beil.
Mr, and Mrs. Cliff Ghol-
son went to Wichita Falls
Saturday to visit with Mr.
and Mra. Bob Coats and
children. They brought tneir
little granddaughter, Debra
Coats, home with them and
she is spending several days
here.
Herbert Klump is a pa-
tient in the Haskell Hospital.
Mrs. Edith Agnew or Stam-
ford and Mrs. Barbara Winkle
of Lancaster, Calif., were here
