to interest me. I could never grow tired of reading your writing, or listening to your conversation.

I shall never forget the night we were at Mr. Waggoner's, nor the Sabbath eve we walked together.

Your picture, Emma, lies before me, and not a day, nor even a half day has passed that I have not gazed on it and longed to see the original. I am not very well today, having taken a very severe cold a few nights since. I can scarcely talk and my hand trembles so I can hardly write, but I'll work it off now as we are
