Surrey, 15 miles southeast of
Breckenridge, lies been completed
as a discovery well from the Low-
er Strawn for Stephens County.
The well flowed 121 barrels of
40.7 gravity oil in 24 hours, through
12-04 choke with "85 pounds on
casing and 140 pounds on tubing
from open hole at 2,529-54 feet.
Total depth was 2,577 feet, plug-
ged back to 2,554. GOR was 080-1.
The well was originally drilled
to 2.578 feet and plugged in De-
cember, 1961. Operator reentered
the hole a few days ago.
Woodson Oil Co. has staked a
w ildcat in Stephens County as No.
1 J. IJ. Hill, two miles southeast
of Klhisville.
Location for the 4,800 foot ro-
tary project is 1.20'! feet from the
southwest and .'t.'io feet from the
southeast lines of Section 1022,
TK&L Survey.
Gray Oil Co. has filed amended
location for No. :i Effie Newnham,
five miles south of Caddo. It is
to be 700 feet from the north and
890 feet from thv? east lines of
Section 44, Block 0, T&l' Survey.
Proposed depth is 2,100 feet with
Woodson Oil Co. is to- drill No.
7-A R. A. Brown as a Manning-
Harrington-Straw n Field project
five miles northwest of Throck-
morton. Location for the 4,200-foot
rotary test is 2,100 feet from the
ast and 1.080 feet from the south
'ines of Section 210, BBB&C Sur-
vey.
The same operator's No. 12-A R.
A. Brown will be a G-B Caddo
Field try five miles northwest of
Woodson. Location for the 4,200
."oot rotary project is 330 feet from
the north and east lines of the
northwest quarter of Section 929,
