ness meeting -with the president,
Mrs. R. D. Taylor, presiding.
After the business meeting, Dr.
II H Cartwright was introduced
by Mrs. Richurd Wood, program
chairman.
Dr. Cartwright gave a brief talk
on Cancer and later showed a
film entitled "Breast Self Exami-
nation." by the American Cancel-
Society. Dr. Cartwright also an |
nounced that the Cancer Drive will
begin in April.
It wtis decided that the next
meeting would be March <>, and
Would be an eVening meeting in
observance of National Education
Week.
Refreshments of coffee and
brownies were served by Mrs. Wal-
lace's room.

The Jaxie Short Circle of the
First Baptist Church met in the
home of Mrs. II. V. Walker lues-
day morning.
Mrs. Weldon Rogers, chairman,
presided" at the business meeting.
