Fontenot, and Hortense Hall.Tri-Hi-Y girls make their motto meaningful when they
serve as community helpers at local day nurseries and
the Lillie Nichols Home, and distribute gifts to indigent
families during the year. They raise funds for the above-
mentioned projects and for attendance at "Y" confer-
ences by giving socials and selling dinners.
Representatives of the five Tri-Hi-Y clubs attend theannual conference at Prairie View College each year.
Sponsors are Misses N. J. Ellison, Dolly DeJean, and
Mesdames Betty Washington, and Clesther Peters.
Their major social activities were a Mother and
Daughter banquet, and a picnic for club members who
