A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from Milton Whiting, Whiting Oil Company, Clifton Forge, Virginia, dated November 5, 1948. Whiting acknowledges his receipt of Carswell's letter and check and asks about Byrd and her broken arm.
