Provided By

Clark Hotel Museum

The Museum is located in one of the oldest surviving buildings in Van Horn and operated as a hotel for many years. When Culberson County was first created, the museum site served as the first courthouse while one was being constructed. It then served as a hotel for nearly four decades. Purchased by the Museum Association in 1979, it has been in the process of restoration. The Rescuing Texas History grant provided funding for digitization.
