Hettie and Christine were our'
representative^ to the M.cMurry
TarletQii/ game ,'Friday. They
reported that those Plowboys
srirely 'did plow,'; even if they
. did have their plows set wrong.
Estelle i was thrilled oyer a
l visit paid her' by her mother,
father, Vand best friend, Beta
Mae Wynn. ,• She was so elated
that :' she hardly knew 1 how to
act. ■ '
Venita Jo was happy, too.
Her sister, Sally Sue, spent the
week end with her, and then,
of •course, there's always Leroy
• to 'cinsidor.
Gladys' mother came to see
her today. We thought she

men,—have been to see her this
week end. We wonder if each
knew of the'other's visit.
Of course Mary Edna would
have cpmpany, today. She al-
, ways .does'have. .
.Bettie Sue also received com-
pany todayl Twp pf her cous-
ins spent the day with' her.
If all of our vsiitors we have
not. heard of a single box of
eats—we wonder why?
; "Sixteen" is still counting
the, days ,till Turkey Day. She
is a bit young to .be away from
mother for so long at once.
: Faye Turner is the only per-
son . we- know who refuses to
open letters from her very best
arid only sweetheart because
she's afraid she'll get homesick.
We call that playing safe. <
< Jessie Myrtle and Dixie go
home so .much that we can't re-
port on. them. You kno^v as
much of them as we do.
Bless those Plowboys' hearts.
We surely admire their sports-
manship even in. (Jefeat.

Those who had merchandise for
sale, though, had very little suc-
cess ; for the visit was made on
Saturday afternoon, and we had
already spent our allowance for
the week. '
Dr. Neely has been-very busy

NEW MEMBERS OF ;
OFFICERS' CLUB
. We were honored last Wed-

Mr. Howell, yphq, honored i^s
With a speech. He outlined
clearly the duties and, responsi-
bilities of a cadet officer. Cap-
tain Mulcahy also talked to us
about the same subject. After
these discussions were , made,
Captain Wood proceeded to col-
lect money from eyeryorie pres-
ent. This money goes to the of-
ficersVfund, ;which eriables us to
give a party every now arid
then. . .''.'■■■

Arthur Bowers, I am sure that
each of these members, both old
