Provided By

Clark Hotel Museum

The museum is located in one of the oldest surviving buildings in Van Horn and served as a hotel for many years. When Culberson County was first created, the museum site served as the first courthouse while one was being constructed. It then served as a hotel for nearly four decades. Purchased by the Museum Association in 1979, it has been in the process of restoration. The Rescuing Texas History grant helped fund projects for the museum.
