R. C. Phansteel was in from his
ranch on Thursday after supplies.
George Syng of Pampa was among
the arrivals at the Hereford House
yesterday.
R. F. Holloway has just received
a new and up-to-date law library to
adorn his new office.
G. S. Williams, who has a ranch
twenty miles north of town, was in
yesterday after supplies.
Ballard Slinger, an expert book-
keeper of Rosebud, came in on
Thursday's train and is prospecting
hereadouts. He is an old friend of
R. F. Holloway.
We have a fine line of single and
double buggies. Mice weather will
soon prevail and you should discard
the old buggy and drive in one of our
swell turnouts. Stringfellow-Hume

W. G. Twyman has rented the
building formerly occupied by the
Hereford Manufacturing Company
and is repapering and otherwise im-
proving the property. When ready
for occupancy Mr. Twyman will open
a billiard and pool parlor therein.

B. C. D. JByum went to Amarillo
Wednesday on business.
Miss Dora Rambo of Quanah is a
guest at the home of Mrs. F. M.
Avis for a few weeks.
Felix Franklin of Amarillo came
in on Thursday's train and registered
at the Hereford House.

F. W. lams came in yesterday
from Dalhart, where he purchased a
four-section ranch. Mr. lams in-
forms us he expects to move to his
new possessions about May 1st. We
regret exceedingly to lose Mr. lams
as a citizen of this vicinity but re-
joice to see that he is not forsaking
the Panhandle. Dalhart is to be
congratulated upon gaining him as a
citizen.
