The safe of the Hereford Business
College Bank was blown open last
night and had it not been for the
early arrival of a new student the
bank would have been comidfrntbly
weakened.
The Bank opened on time this
morning and is doing business as

Lamar Literary Society.
The pupils of the College met
last week and organized the Lamar
Debating and Literary society which
will meet each week and discuss
some question of public jnterest.
This is a move in the right direction
and we trust the young men and
ladies will be greatly benefitted by
pursuing tjiis line of work.
