Keep the Balance up.
It has been truth inlly said that any
disturbance of the even balance of
heajth canses .serious trouble
Nobody can be too careful to keep
this balance up. When people
begin to lose appetite or to get
tired easily the least imprudence
brings on sickness weakness or
debility The system 'needs a
tonic craves it and should not be
denied it: and the best tonic of
which we have an' knowledge is

Europe Against America.
London Saturday Review.
The feeling of apprehension with
regard to American competition
which has been growing on the
contiuent for several years found
expression again in the meeting of
Austrian manufacturers held at
Vienna last week. There is little
doubt that it is likely to lead to ac-
tion of some kind when the renew-
al of the commercial treaties comes
up for consideration. If this should
bj the case we may anticipate a
commercial war of the &ame nature
which appears to be opening be
tween the United States and Rus-
