tonio Business Men's Club relative to
Lon C. Hill's proposition to build a
railroad from San Antonio to
Brownsville arrived here last night.
A meeting was held with the club this
afternoon at four o'clock and another
tonight. Mr. Hill submitted his pro-
position which in effect asks for an

31st ultimo enclosing clippings from
the Brownsviile Herald giving par-
ticulars regarding the efforts that are
being made to obtain the consent of
the governments of the United States
and Mexico to the participation of
Mexican soldiers at Matamoros in
the celebration at Fort Brown Texas
on the 3rd 4th and 5th proximo.
