in the movie.

Jerry Don Norton and Harold
Sword had an enjoyable day
Sunday. They went to see Tom-
my Ridgeway in Longview.
Don Pledger, your notebook
and papers are beautiful. Are
n't you proud of them? It real-
ly took some artists to do
that! Really, they hope you
aren't mad.
The band was "not" crowd-
ed when one of the buses broke
down and everybody had to
get on one bus from Gilmer. At
least it was warmer.
Joe Cochran was really giv-
ing directions on the bus Fri
day night . . . "Turn left here,
etc."
Fourth period biology was
very relaxing Friday -- Especial-
ly when the "alarm" went off.
Mike Sartain, what kind of
Twist were you doing again?
The Youth Center was filled
with champion pool and ping-
pong players Saturday night.
Everybody should come and
join in on the fun.

all three teams, Rusk, Jack-
sonville and Alto won their
districts. Naturally!
Which brings us to Bi-Dist-
rict. We want to see everyone
of you at the game Saturday

our FIGHTING EAGLESSS all
the way to the top!!! We are
so very proud of them and (he
coaches!
That surely was a sad show
tears were seen flooding down
ihe isle from time to time. Dot-

nith Martin, Brenda Hendrick
and Bob Edwards, Naomi Hol-

Seale, Phillip Power were all
seen there.
Kenny McClure and Betty Jo
Tosh ran the concession stand
at the Youth Center Saturday
night, wore together after the
ball game Friday night, and
went to church Sunday.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
GIRL
The senior spotlight for the
week is one of our most out-
standing seniors, Darlene Fitts.
Darlene is loved by everyone
who knows her because of her
outstanding personality. She is
active in many of the organiz-
ations, including the F. T. A
Club, F. N. A. Club in which
she was an officer last year,
and she was in the Spanish
Club (or 2 years. She has been
a member of the high school
band for 4 years.
She is also a member of the
Dance Band. She was elected
class favorite her freshman
year and has been chosen as
"Wittest Girl" by the student
body this year. This is proof
of the many friends she has.
Alter graduation, Darlene
plans to attend school in St
Louis, Missouri, and become a
Laboratory Technician. We
know that Darlene will be a
success in the remaining part
of her life because she has no
trouble making friends.
