Garden Clubs, Inc. which they
attended at Paris, Texas Ap-
ril 7 and 8.

their committees were pre-
sented with a certificate of a -
wards recently won at the St-
ate Convention for the clubs
out standing work. They were

Guentzel who gave an interes-
ting talk on "Forests Firery
Symbol" taken from the Love
Star Gardener, Mrs. OttoGu-
entiier gave an informative
talk on Birds, promotion of
bird feeders, sanctuaries and
fountains, and showed several
bird feeders. Mrs. Guenther
expressed her appreciation to
the clubs and to Mrs. G. C.
Lindsay for her time and in-
terest given for a successful
Garden Tour enjoyed by mem-
bers and guest recently.

"Butch" and Bonnie Banks, owners of Rusk's
new Purina feed store, B&B Farm Supply, held
their grand opening recently. Butch Is a native
of Rusk and Bonnie was born and reared in
Jacksonville. They have four children, Edgar
Hi, age 13; Bill, II, Fred, 9; and Jo Ann, 4.
Banks has been In the feed business In this
üas>t Texas area for 15 years prior to opening
the Purina store.

Creativity Is Program Theme, For Beta Alpha
Beta A'pha Chapter of Delta
Kappa Gamma Society met
Thursday evening, April 20, In
the parlor of the Jacksonville
Presbyterian Church, for a
program entitled "fYofi e of
Creativity."
Mrs. Mayme Henslee, prog-
ram chairman, presented Mr.
John Dean, of Dean's Music
Center, who explained the Ya-
maha Music Course for pre-
school children between the
ages of four and six. This co-
urse "seeks to prepare young
children for a lifetime of con-
structive interest in creative
music." As a most fascinat-
ing addition, Mrs. Dean dem-
onstrated with six children the
teaching methods and curric-
ula materials used inthi' Ya-

liity to develop amazing mus .

the theme of creativity, in
